Integrity is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations and outcomes. In western ethics, integrity is regarded as the quality of having an intuitive sense of honesty and truthfulness in regard to the motivations for one's actions.- wiki
i believe that there is not enough integrity in the world. we are shy to be honest with ourselves first and foremost, and second to that we are shy to be honest with others.often we lack a whole, a core, a central dynamic which guides our thoughts and actions. we act impulsively and in shotgun fashion. we do not consider the effects of our dishonesty but instead ride its waves like a boat tossed upon a storm. where, in this turbulence, is the courage we lack? courage, to do the right thing, even if nobody is watching to admire or flatter your decisions. courage to be reasonable in a flight of confusion and hussle. refuge where there is war.
where is my inner sense of wholeness? where might i find some preserving silence so that i may finally come to peace?
“The foundation stones for a balanced success are honesty, character, integrity, faith, love and loyalty.”
